About Me

I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Katy, Texas.  I attended Seven Lakes High school where I played football and ran track.

I graduated high school with aspirations of playing college football, so I spent the next few years as a journeyman.  I walked on at Lamar University, Oklahoma State University and Glendale Community College in Arizona prior to transferring to Texas State University in January 2017.

While at Texas State, I joined KTSW 89.9, their official radio station, and served as the assistant sports director. My Primary duties included:

·        Providing play by play and color commentary for various Texas State athletic events.

·        Producing and hosting radio talk shows and podcasts.

I also spent ten months as an intern for Sun Radio in Austin, Texas.  While at Sun Radio, I served in the following capacity:

·        Play by play announcer for Gonzales High School football and Dripping Springs High School basketball teams.

·        Producer for Dripping Springs lacrosse.

During the summer of 2019, I was a sports department intern at NBC affiliate KXAN.  I also recorded a mock sports anchoring broadcast with WFAA in Dallas, Texas.

I graduated from Texas State in August of 2019 with a major in Mass Communication and a minor in Communication Studies.

I'm currently a weekend news anchor/reporter for KSAN-TV in San Angelo, TX. I've been employed with them since December 2019.

I look forward to contributing to a dynamic sports media and journalism team.  If you have questions about my resume, or my past experiences, contact me.
